Ride stronger. Ride smarter. Ride without limits.

The old rules don’t work for women. This is a different conversation—where your body leads, and your training, recovery, and rehab follow.

Different approach

Why Female Cyclists Need a Different Conversation

You love cycling – the freedom, the challenge, the community.

But sometimes the path feels like it wasn’t designed for you:

  • Knee or hip pain that just won’t settle
  • Training plans that don’t consider your body’s natural rhythms
  • Lack of clear guidance in a male-dominated sport

You deserve a partner who sees the whole picture: your goals, your lifestyle, and your unique physiology.

My Approach

A Different Approach.
A Better Outcome.

I customize every rehab plan specially for you – not the average.

From my perspective, true performance is built within the optimal tissue loading window.

Optimal Loading

Where do the real performance gains happen?

Inside the Green-Zone Window — the sweet spot where your training stress matches your body’s ability to absorb, adapt, and come back stronger.

What is the Green-Zone Window?

It’s the intersection of:

Neurological readiness
think of it as your performance “operating system.”
Tissue load tolerance –
like a credit limit: increase it over time, and you can “spend” more in training without going into the red.
Recovery capacity –
like your performance battery: the better it recharges, the more power you can put out day after day.

This is optimal loading — where your body grows stronger, not just tired.

This is where results happen.

Process

When These Three Are in Sync —
You Perform at Your Best

This is the science behind my custom T.O.P. Concept (Test → Optimise → Perform).

Your physiology is your power. We’re not working around it—we’re working with it to level up.

1.

Test

We start with a women-specific physiology questionnaire to understand hormonal rhythms, followed by a full functional and biomechanical assessment to optimise training and rehab.

Example:
Some days your lower back hurts, other days it doesn’t. That’s no coincidence—it’s your cycle in action.

2.

Optimize

Targeted therapy, mobility work, and training tweaks designed around you.

Example:
During ovulation, it isn’t the time to overdo single-leg work—shift to full-body stiffness training to stay powerful and injury-resistant.

3.

Perform

Ride with confidence, race without fear. Your cycle isn’t negotiable—but your approach is. Learn your body’s signals and push toward your goals smarter.

Example:
Pre-ride activation routines, sustainable training structure, and strategies for long-term health and performance.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all program.
It’s expert guidance that adapts to you – and stays with you as you grow.

Outcome

What changes
for You?

Uncertainty about pain or a
discomfort

Pain-free riding with clarity and structure

Training plans that feel like a compromise

Training that respects your physiology and schedule

Frustration when performance dips unexpectedly

Confidence, freedom, and enjoyment every time you get on the bike

About me

Why Work With Me

I know cycling isn’t just a sport – it’s part of your life.

As a performance therapist and cyclist, I’ve worked with some of the best riders in the world, including EF Education–Oatly women WorldTour team, and supported the best female athletes during races such as Giro d’Italia Donne and Ronde van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders).

What sets me apart:

  • No templates – everything is tailored
  • Health first, performance always – pain-free riding is the baseline, not the goal
  • You’re never “just another client” – I’m part of your team, not just a therapist

What Female Riders Say

As an athlete traveling the world to race, it’s hard to find people you can trust for advice and support to keep both body and mind performing at their best. Over the years I’ve relied on Martin’s expertise to bounce back from injuries and stay ahead of any future niggles. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough!
